Key Switches

A key switch is a switch that can only be activated with the use of a key. Also known as a locking on/off switch, it is normally integrated into an electrical circuit. When the key is turned, it creates or breaks the circuit thereby enabling the user to turn the system on or off.

Key switches can normally be found anywhere a key is needed to control, or isolate electrical power.

Such applications include:

  • Fire alarm systems
  • Switchgears
  • Fuse boxes
  • Data cabinets

Key switches in this section include:

  • Multiple pole switches
  • Wafers
  • M.S switches
  • C.K switches
